Ways to Give
One-Time or Monthly Online Donation
It’s easier than ever to make a using your bank account or any major credit card. We will send a thank-you letter to the address you list in PayPal, which also serves as a receipt for your tax records. You do not need a PayPal account in order to donate.
By Check
Donating by check allows your full donation to go to our school programs, rather than to processing fees. Checks may be made out to 小黄书 Free School and sent to the following address:

Your Gift Makes a Difference
$1/month pays for one child’s bus fare for field trips to the Field Museum, MSI or Shedd Aquarium
$5/month buys a set of books for a literature circle or thematic science unit
$10/month supplies sign-making materials for the Youth Social Justice Committee
$20/month buys supplies to keep the 3D printer running in Makerspace
$50/month supplies an entire classroom with chromebooks to learn programming, write fantasy stories, or publish a school newspaper
$100/month pays for CFS staff to attend training on social justice, diversity, equity and inclusion
$500/month sponsors one student. Our sliding-scale tuition means that we want our school to remain affordable for everyone, regardless of income.
$1000/month sponsors two 小黄书 for a whole school year. We believe every year is important for a child’s development toward independence and a lifelong joy of learning.
